5 Signs That Your Social Media is Lazy!

If you're like me, you probably noticed that most businesses you follow are lazy when it comes to social media. This is primarily due to the fact that they are either employing people who don't have marketing experience, they rely too heavily on AI, or both. Here are 5 signs that your social media is lazy:
Your social media manager doesn't meet with you on a regular basis to learn about your Company and it's changes. Your business is constantly evolving. If the person responsible for sharing your story doesn't make the effort to understand your business, it's time for a change.
You don't have REAL photos and videos on your page. Instead your page has only Canva and AI graphics. People are starving for "REAL" interactions. Social Media "Tags" and "Collaborations" only work if people want to share them.

No one is showing up to cover your Events and Company milestones. Your grand openings, ribbon cuttings, and other events are important. Make sure your social media celebrates your milestones with something more than an AI graphic that took less than 2 minutes.
Your social media manager is not helping you with tags and collaborations with other brands that can help you grow your business. Companies who aren't familiar with social media often believe if you make a post that everyone on Facebook or Instagram can see it. The truth is that only a small percentage of your followers will actually see your post. Tags and collaborations are essential to help you extend the reach of your brand beyond your current followers.
There's no SOCIAL in your Social Media! Where's the community? What are your hobbies? Are there any special causes or charities that you support? Do any of your employees have birthdays or anniversaries? Let's remember to keep the social in social media.

Imagine Marketing understands that you can hire anyone to simply "post" for you. But if you want growth, that's where Imagine Marketing comes in. Social media marketing is a team sport that requires clear comprehension of your brand voice, quality content, and a distribution strategy of your message to a larger audience to help you reach your goals.
